MANAGING DIRECTOR

Samantha Graham

Sam leads Eastern Angels, bringing founders, investors and partners together to help promising businesses across the East of England grow. She has two decades of experience in marketing and bringing products and strategic initiatives to market, working across multinational companies, charities and small businesses.

At Norwich Research Park, she worked at the heart of the region's start-up community, supporting high growth potential start-ups and university spin-outs as they developed and sought investment.

Sam combines strategic thinking with practical delivery, and is known for building trusted relationships that help new ventures secure the support they need to progress. She has judged the KPMG Tech Innovator awards for the past two years and judged the IMPULSE programme at the Maxwell Centre in Cambridge.

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Laura Hood

Laura looks after the day-to-day running of Eastern Angels and leads our deal screening, so she is often the first person founders speak to. She joined five years ago in business development.

She works closely with Sam on investor relations and founder support, and is particularly passionate about helping early stage and female-led businesses across the East of England.

Hannah Brynn

Hannah was previously Managing Director of Eastern Angels and now supports the board, sharing her experience of the start-up and investment community in the East of England. She also helps digital and creative businesses commercialise at Teesside University.
