How to raise with Eastern Angels
Our process is designed to be clear and fair, with a person reading every application Here is what to expect, from your first application to pitching to our members.

Applying to pitch for investment
1. Online Application
To apply to pitch for investment all applicants are asked to apply via our deal platform Inclusiv, this ensures that our investment committee have all of the information they need in one place to review your application fully.
2. Initial pitch deck screening
Our investment committee will undertake an initial screening to ensure you meet the criteria. If deemed suitable your application will be reviewed by investors at Deal Flow Forum.
3. Online Pitch
If the angels decide they would like to hear more, you will be invited to attend our online screening committee where you will have an opportunity to present your pitch to our angel members and partners.
4. In person pitch event
Following a successful online pitch you will be invited to meet the group at our next in-person pitch event. This is a great opportunity to meet with investors and partners
What do we look for in an investment opportunity?
As a general guide, ideally we would like to see the following:

Based in or connected to the East of England

An innovative, exciting and potentially disruptive business

A capable management team
-
A well-considered business model and route to market
-
SEIS/EIS eligible investment
-
A fair and justifiable company valuation
-
A well-considered exit strategy
-
A minimum viable product with some market traction
Upcoming Application Deadlines
We accept applications all year and encourage you to onboard our online deal platform as soon as you are ready, however to ensure that we have enough time to process your application ahead of our in person pitch events the following cut-off dates have been set for each cycle

13th October ahead of 19th Nov in-person pitch event

March ahead of June pitch event
